About MDI


  Introduction to the Meeting Design Institute
   

The Meeting Design Institute, founded in 2006, provides consulting services, educational and training programmes for meeting professionals, venues and convention bureaus. We publish books, articles and videos on meeting design as well as organising a conference on meeting design - the FRESH Conference (since 2012).  Our education offers the chance to become a Certified Meeting Designer (CMD).  MDI also has a global community of companies and professionals (our members) that deliver meeting support or are involved in meeting design.

Our mission is: to develop meeting design alongside the logistics and hospitality. This category of meeting design brings together education, tools and services with a common objective to design more effective meetings and events.
